I may have just written the first scene - and the first song - of the musical! I had put down a few words already on 7 March, but of course there was far more research to be done; it was just a lark. Today...well, I just got tired of research and assimilating information - by now I certainly have enough to at least give it a go. And there it came, full lyrics and all. Is it any good? I'll get back to you on that one. I will have to run it by Leo when he gets back (he's filming on-line piano lessons in Massachusetts this week). But I think I've captured enough of the essence to where it's a passable first draft. I certainly won't journal every time I write a scene, but I felt this one was rather momentous, and it deserved a little announcing!
